#### Configuring XML Sitemap
Refer to the [flexible template CMS instructions](/k-R9oJNzSJG_F4x3P7gIug#CMS-Instructions) for details about creating content.
Sitemaps are XML (Extensible Markup Language) files that contain a list of site webpages and location. They enable search engines to index content which may result in improvements in SEO. By default, the page is included but you may choose to exclude the page from the sitemap.

**XML Sitemap** default settings:
- **Inclusion** - Default is to include the page in the XML Sitemap.
- **Priority** - Default ("0.5"). Tells crawlers the importance of the URL relative to others on the site. 1 being the highest importance.
- **Change Frequency** - "Always". The frequency with which entities of this type change. Search engine bots may take this as an indication of how.
