# Videos
Drupal features a direct integration to Kaltura, Novartis's enterprise video streaming service. Video content is embeddable via through a variety of individual design system components (see individual component requirements) but the upload and management process is the same wherever it is available in the CMS. Content editors will require access to the Kaltura KMS to upload videos. Instructions for video embedding within Drupal components is below.
* Close captioning for videos is available and should be used when possible.
* Analytics should be enabled when possible.
* Mandatory Metadata:
* Video File Name
* Video Name
* Description
* Tags
* Business Unit
* Brand / Project
* Business Owner Name
* Business Owner email
* Approval Code
* Website URL
* Country
* Audience
* Expiration Date

#### Adding Video to Content
While adding or editing content, content editors can add video to the following content components: free form content block, accordion, tabbed content, and heroes.
Please refer to the [flexible template CMS instructions](/k-R9oJNzSJG_F4x3P7gIug#CMS-Instructions) for details about adding and editing content.
**Step 1:** Open the content block you wish to edit and scroll to the reqired field. Make sure that the required fields for the block are filled in.
**Step 2:** Click the add media icon:

In the add media window, navigate to the **Kaltura Entity** tab, and select the video from the library:

Configure the video:

You can change the following entries:
- **Player Controls** - select the controls to be displayed
- **Autoplay**
- **FW/Rewind**
- **Download**
- **Full Screen**
- **Play Speed**
- **Large Play Button**
- **Player Styling**
- **Width (px)** - we recommend to set minimum width of 500px to see all the selected controls.
- **Height (px)**
- **Player Embed Type** - Thumbnail Embed or DynamiŃ Embed. You can change the embed method for the selected media.
Preview the video and click the **Embed** button to add the video to the content block. You and edit video using the **Edit medi**a button:

**Step 3:** Be sure to click the **Add block** button to ensure that your changes are updated.

**Step 4:** Click the **Save layout** button

**Step 5:** Open the content page using the **URL alias** for the page. URL alias is displayed on the **Edit** tab for the content, refer to the [flexible template CMS instructions](/k-R9oJNzSJG_F4x3P7gIug#CMS-Instructions) for details.

#### Adding Videos
Site administrators and content editors can add videos to the Kaltura media library by logging into Kaltura and adding videos. Note Video assets should not be added via the content management system.
