# **Meet the herders** A video/podcast series which interviews the members of the Ethereum Cat herders community (ECH). ECH is responsible for co-ordinating upgrades to the ethereum network by facilitating meetings across teams, documenting the notes and informing the community regrading upgrades. ECH also performs community surveys which are channeled back to the development teams. The objective of the series would be to cover the members journey into ethereum and explore their existing projects/roles.Emphasis will be on experience with community building in ethereum and exploring their role and the work at ECH. Our target audience are: - Participants of ethereum ecosystem: Developers to marketing departments. - Individuals interested in behind the scenes management of protocol updates. - Community builders. - ETH historians :) **Interview Format** - Introduction of the guest. - Discussing their background. - Discussing current projects/work. - Exploring work with ECH. - Insights into their specific role at ECH. - Discussing their views on ETH community. - Disussing any other social or off-shoot interests. - Sign off. **Duration** - Ice-breaker : 20-30 mins. (see below) - Episode : 60-90 mins (with episode length aimed at 30-60 mins approx). **Frequency** : Once every two weeks. **Engagement** --- Once the guest has agreed to participate for the interview. The host will send over a list of questions they would like to ask them during the interview. The host will engage with the guest in a ice-breaker meeting where they can gather any feedback and answer any questions of the guest. This session will also be used to tweak the questions and help shape the episode. The questions agreed on will be used as guidelines for the interview. The interview will be carried out using a zoom (or meet). The guest can maintain their chosen level of privacy , i.e video on/off, use a psudeonym, voice modulation etc. The interview will be cross posted to Medium (text) and Podcasts (audio) **Requirements from Guests** - Email to schedule ice-breaker meeting and recording. - Social media handles (optional) **To-dos before the video/call** --- - Collect questions via twitter,discord channels. **Responsibilities of the host** --- Haresh is host and is tasked with co-ordination and initiative. - Reach out to the the guest(s) - Schedule the meeting, zoom+invite etc. - Collect relevant questions from the community - Conduct the interview. - Generate text transcript for Medium. - Co-ordinate Record, edit, share, and promote via different social media. - Once edit is ready , share it with guest and get a sign-off before release. **To-dos post the video/call** --- - Promote via channels : Twitter, Discord.
