--- tags: Week 4, H3, M9, Extra --- :::info 💡**Extra Resource:** Not mandatory, but recommended. ::: # Hack: Automating your lead generation on LinkedIn Now that you know the basics of how to effectively use LinkedIn, we want to introduce you to two tools that can make lead generation more efficient by automating the process. The tools are called [Dux-Soup](https://www.dux-soup.com/) and [LinkedHelper](https://www.linkedhelper.com/) and belong to the group of LinkedIn automation software. In a nutshell, both tools allow you to do a number of actions on LinkedIn on a mass and automated scale like: * Connecting with profiles * Send Inmails * Scan and visit profiles and extract profile data * Endorse skills listed on LinkedIn acounts All this can be done with hundreds and thousands of potential leads in an automated yet personalized way. Personally, we prefer DuxSoup for it's ease of use but this is just our personal preference. We highly encourage you to try both or at least one of them and experiment with it. 1. **Dux-Soup:** Go ahead and [visit the Dux-Soup website](https://www.dux-soup.com/) and download the app for free (you may have to download and use the Google Chrome browser for that). The free version gives you limited access to their basic functions, but it's enough to get the idea and play around with it (maybe your future employer is working with it or will pay for it if you ask). You can also read up on their features [here](https://www.dux-soup.com/#automate-your-activity). For a quick intro on their core features, see the video below. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/MoC0AVY-5oM" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> ::: success **Exclusive goody for you:** As part of our partnership, Dux-Soup is offering access keys to a 1-month free premium subscription to all our students. Meaning, you need to offer value. **Do not send spammy mass contact requests or InMails without a clear goal for a specific target persona.** Otherwise your profile's quality and (digital) reputation will quickly go down the drain. Use these tools carefully. ::: <style> body > .ui-infobar, body > .ui-toc, body > .ui-affix-toc, body > .ui-community, body > .document-footer { display: none !important; } </style>
