Your first week at Hyrise Academy will arguably be the most theoretical one, as we will focus on the basics. Some of you might find some of the lessons relatively simple, but **setting a solid foundation is crucial.** Make sure you take your time during this first week to truly understand all the content. How do you know if you truly understand something? You should be able to explain any concept to a 7 year old .😉 :::info ### **Week 1: Learning Objectives** ✅ Gain a basic understanding of the tech sector, key industries, and how tech companies work. ✅ Gain a basic understanding of the world of sales, focusing on the buyer's journey and the sales funnel and process. ✅ Understand SaaS technology and it's repercussions in the tech sector. ✅ Have a better understanding of what a career in tech sales looks like, and the different sales positions at tech companies and their role. ✅ Understand the dynamics of Sales pipeline, know what activities are needed to meet your objectives and learn how to create effective plans accordingly. ::: &nbsp; ## 2.
