--- tags: Week 0, H3 --- # Setting up your course tools Now that you're familiar with the course dynamics, let us walk you through the tools and platforms we will be using. Throughout the course, you will be using different tools and platforms to follow the course, and communicate and coordinate with your squad and our staff. Let's have a look and set you up with the main ones 👇 1. Hyrise Studio: follow course content and submit assignments 2. Slack Workspace: communicate with your squad and Hyrise staff 3. Notion: document your weekly meeting notes 4. Hyrise +: access extra content material &nbsp; ## 1. Hyrise Studio If you're reading this, it means you've already accessed Hyrise Studio - congratulations! Our Studio is where our whole course content lives. The platform should feel intuitive and easy to use, but just to be sure, please check out our walkthrough video. {%youtube ormCBpe8R14 %} &nbsp; ## 2. Hyrise community: Our Slack Channel In your onboarding email, you should have received an invite to join our Slack workspace. This is where our community lives. Through this channel, you will be able to communicate with both our team and your peers. ![](https://i.imgur.com/YfQdz5B.png) ### Slack Channels Let's have a look at the different channels and their use cases: - **#general:** Every Hyrise Student has access to this channel. We will post events and community-wide announcements here. Feel free to post interesting links, learnings or any other news. - **#support:** Facing a technical issue? This is your channel. - **#squad-X:** This is your squad channel. It's private - only you and your squad have access to it! - **#community-feedback:** This is where you share anything that you would like to receive feedback on by your peers. We highly encourage you to make use of it! No reason to be shy or feel apprehensive - it's a save environment with the single objective to help each other learn. - **#student-highlights:** Please share your individual highlights with us here. This may be your first ever cold call, great feedback you have received by a prospect, having completed your first discovery call or job interview, etc. &nbsp; ## 3. Notion As you saw on the previous lesson, Notion is our main tool for documentation. It's main purpose in our program will be as a shared workspace for your weekly meeting notes with your squad and sales trainer. :::info â„šī¸ **We highly encourage you to create a Notion account.** It's completely free and will vastly improve your experience. [**You can do so here**](https://www.notion.so/) ::: &nbsp; ## 4. Hyrise+ Hyrise+ is our in-house content library. It contains all recordings from Hyrise masterclasses, accredited courses, and our knowledge base with curated content. While Hyrise + won't be a part of our day-to-day activities in the program, it is a great place to find resources during and after the course. It is an overall repository where sales-related resources are collected and organized. Check it out [here](https://www.notion.so/headstartacademy/Hyrise-c999e576b6b84228a55087fb7373df4c)! To make the most of Hyrise+, we recommend you browse through all the tags. Once you find one you like, you can click on a card to access the content! 👇 <div style="position: relative; padding-bottom: 56.25%; height: 0;"><iframe src="https://www.loom.com/embed/99dc91553fa6494d9fa94b3845b52249" frameborder="0" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen style="position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%;"></iframe></div> &nbsp; ## đŸ¤¯ Quick access to all tools We know it can be easy to get lost with different tools and links, so we've made it easier for you by creating a sidebar where you can access everything you will need through the home page of your Hyrise Platform. ![](https://i.imgur.com/UIPvAb3.png) That's it! Again, we know this is a lot of information but please don't get overwhelmed... you will learn and become used to using these tools in the best way possible - through practice!
