# Email follow-up strategy
Great!
So you now know how to structure your email, you press send aaaand... nothing. Radio silence. 🦗🦗🦗
As we said before, just sending one cold email unfortunately doesn't cut it! You need to follow up.

In B2B sales you need to be (politely) persistent and never stop following up until you are told to do so. Radio silence on part of your prospects does not mean "no". It can mean many things like "I am too busy right now and just haven't read your email yet". That's why your emails need to be good, precise, outstanding, and value-adding.

*Note: As with your initial email, don't write generic follow-up emails. Try to make them as personalized as possible! "Hey (Name), just checking in. How about my last mail?" or "Hey (Name), just following up. When can we talk?" won't work. Do NOT write like that.*
