# Best Practices
From experience, there are certain best practices that students who make the most out of our program consistently do.
Check them out and try to put them into practice when going through the program :point_down:
## 1. How to solve doubts

**This means your learning path does not end when you finish our course. You will have to continue learning and evolving throughout your whole career.**
One of the most important skills we want to teach you at Hyrise Academy is, therefore, learning how to learn!
The best way to do that is by empowering and teaching you to solve problem's and find doubts on your own.
Here is the mental model and steps to follow when you feel stuck or have any doubts:

When in doubt...
1. **First, Google it.**
The internet is far more potent than any university out there. People who are experts at accessing and filtering that information effectively have a huge headstart in their learning journey. Whenever you don't understand anything or you feel stuck, recur to Google. 95% of the times, you'll find what you're looking for.
2. **Next, ask your peers.**
When you join Hyrise Academy, you join a community of like-minded people for life. If you feel stuck or just need external input or validation on something, reach out to your squad and Hyrise Community. For this purpose, please use the "community-feedback" channel 🙂.
3. **Finally, ask your Student Success Manager (SSM).**
If both of the above fail, ping your SSM on Slack. He/she should be the last resort, and will be able to help you with anything you need.

## 2. How to activate subtitles
You'll be immersed in an international environment with a global community. Because of that, 100% of our curriculum is covered in English (no worries, actual sales acitivies are done in your native language).
Text and video explanations will be used to reinforce your learning during our course. In case you are still having trouble understanding English videos, check out the video below. It explains how to enable automatically translated subtitles on most (but not all) of our videos so you can learn more easily.

## 3. Make the most of our community
Our greatest asset at Hyrise Academy is our community. As with most things in life, you will get in what you put out from it! Here are some tips to make the most of it...
### Ask for help, receive and share your feedback
Feedback is the best way to grow. Make sure you ask for advice and feedback, and proactively give it in return.

### Get to know other Hyrisers
Make the most of all the brilliant minds in there, you are not alone! Start building your own sales community by connecting and talking with other students as often as you can.

## 4. Put yourself out there and go the extra mile
Our final best practice is to go all in and give your best effort without restrictions.
Our community is a safe space. Be yourself and leave your comfort zone. Put in what it takes - the rewards will come!
