--- tags: Module 9 --- # ✍️ Assignment 1: Create your proposal By now you should have a pretty clear idea of what a compelling sales proposal looks like. It's now time to create and share yours! &nbsp; ## The assignment - Access our proposal template [here](https://docs.google.com/document/d/17lqAJ5TbHZ12KTGUHOYXYYMFzccss9YuW1jXBMdLZug/edit?usp=sharing) and **make a copy** (File > Make a copy). - Alternatively, use one of your choice that you have found online or that has been provided to you by your company. - Customize it for the proposal you want to send. Make sure to include all best practices we have mentioned in this section. - Make sure it looks professional. No typos, no funny formatting. - Save and download it as PDF. - Share it as a follow up email with a Hyrise community member or any other qualified person of your choice, asking for feedback (the one you did the demo with). - Suggestion: Ask for a 15 min. follow up meeting where you walk your prospect through the proposal. ## The scenario - Prepare the proposal for a prospect of your choice with whom you have also had a demo call. - When sharing your proposal via mail, address him/her with the name of your prospect. &nbsp; :::info We have created a checklist you can use to evaluate your proposal. You can either share it with your fellow Hyriser (or whoever is acting as your prospect) and ask her / him to use it to assess your proposal or you use it as a checklist for yourself 🤓 . ![](https://i.imgur.com/JHG7qTE.png) 👉🏻 Download the Checklist by clicking [here](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JKNdOG26Tq6fHbF_AOgDTEwiFMRIrLZp/view?usp=sharing) ::: In the following sections we will prepare you to bring that proposal to a successful closing. :rocket: Let's go! <style> body > .ui-infobar, body > .ui-toc, body > .ui-affix-toc, body > .ui-community, body > .document-footer { display: none !important; } </style>
