# ✍️ Assignment 3: Update your cadencing progress
By now you will likely have experienced first hand that you only rarely secure a discovery call in your first touchpoint with a lead.
They are secured by doing follow ups. Period.
We have stressed the importance of follow ups during this module over and over again. Remember, most sales are done after the 5th follow up while almost half of all salespeople give up after the first one. Not you. Ever.
This is exactly why going through a cadence is so crucial, making sure you have numereous touchpoints with your leads during a specific period of time.
## Show us your progress
During this week, you have followed up with your leads using various channels. We now want to see how exactly you did that 😉.
## Your task
:::info
- [ ] Take screenshots from follow ups you sent on social platforms (e.g. LinkedIn) as well as email. These can be both successful and unsuccessful outreaches.
- [ ] Capture the entire conversation thread you have had with that person so far.
- [ ] Group all your screenshots in **ONE document**. Upload or share the link here below (e.g. Online Doc).
**Note:** Ideally your screenshots include a mix of positive, negative and no replies. We are most interested in examples showing initial objections or no responses at all and how you have handled these.
