# What is SaaS?
Cloud computing gave birth to the three most common "business models" in the software world nowadays:
* SaaS - Software as a Service
* IaaS - Infrastructure as a Service
* PaaS - Platform as a Service

We don't want to get too technical, so if you want to dive deeper into IaaS and PaaS, we recommend the extra read at the end of the module.

For now, let's focus on the most common "business model" and the one you will most likely be working for: SaaS!
