--- tags: Week 3, H3, M8 --- # Overcoming "no thanks" When you reach out to leads via email and you do get a response, more often than not their first response may be "no thanks" or "I'm not interested". As with cold calling, we should use this as a chance to dig a little deeper and clarify why they're not interested. There are three main reasons for answering with "no thanks" or "I'm not interested": - **They really don't have a need** - **Bad timing:** Is this just not a high priority now? Would it make sense to reach out in a couple of months from now? - **Wrong contact person:** Is this not the right person to speak to? If so, who would be?
