# Cadencing with your CRM
We always recommend mapping out your sales cadence in an online doc editor or on a piece of paper... but executing it is a different story.
Manually reaching out to different peple at different times over a long period of time can get tough... we highly recommend you use your CRM to execute your cadence.
You have two options:
1. **Full automation:** Many CRM's allow you to completely automate these efforts, but not all. We recommend you research your specific tool to find out how it can support your cadencing efforts.
2. **Reminders:** If for any reason you can't fully automate your cadence, one feature **all** CRM's offer is the ability to set specific task reminders. It's a little more time consuming than completely automating the process, but a best practice and great way to do it nonetheless.
