As you progress through the course, feel free to go back, review and and modify it. We recommend you keep using it throughout your entire career! Now that is out of the way, it's time to build your Hyrise Profile... > 🤔 *Wait, what is that?* - Your Hyrise Profile is essentially a virtual CV that we will use to present you to employers! > 🤔 *Why do I need to complete it now?* - Our hiring partners are eager to review student profiles even before you finish your training. Even though there's some things you won't be able to complete until you finish your training, we want you to complete some parts so we can already start presenting you to our hiring partners. This will give you a higher chance of having interviews lined up before you even start job seeking 😉 ## ✍️ Your Task: Build your Hyrise Profile Your Hyrise profile is the profile we will share with our hiring partners. Don't worry if it's not fully visible in this view, the image will be seen fully when your card is minimized. - **Emoji**: This is just a fun one - choose whatever you prefer! - **Current location**: Where do you live? Include the city and country. - **Languages**: What languages do you speak and to what level? Be honest here. - **Top skills**: Your personal branding canvas should have helped you reflect and identify on your top 3 skills - what are they? You can use the ones in *Step 2: My top skills* and/or the ones in *Step 3: Brand Attributes*, whichever you identify most with. Make sure whatever they are, they apply to a sales context and they're something attractive for companies 😉 - **Open to work in**: Please include all the ocuntries where you would be willing to work - **Status**: You can choose between "Actively job-seeking" or "Employed". Once you find a job, we recommend you switch it to employed so employers stop contacting you. ### 1. About me - **Video:** Record a 30-60 second video about yourself. - This is the item that will convince most employers to contact you for an interview, so make sure you make an effort to stand out. Some key points: - We recommend doing this directly using your computer or phone camera. - Make sure you communicate well. We recommend writing a script, sharing the video with friends and family for feedback, and repeating the video as many times as necessary. - Show enthusiasm and motivation. - Be brief and to the point. - Make sure you have good lighting and background. - **Do it in your native language.** Additionally, if you like, you can also do it in English and upload both videos. - Needs some ideas on how to structure it? Here is our recommendation: - Your name, where you're from/currently live. - Your background in a nutshell - what you have been doing until now. - Why you have decided to pursue a career in sales and why now. Make sure you show your motivation and how eager you are to work! - What makes you different? Your key superpower or natural talents - no more than 3! - End it with a simple "Thank you!" - **Your personal statement:** Remember your personal branding statement from your Canvas? It's time to put it to use 🙂 You have two options: you can either copy and paste it directly, or you can modify it slightly, completely up to you. If you decide to modify it, we recommend you follow this structure: - Where you come from - What you're looking for - Why you're different Here's an example: *I graduated from Business Management 3 years ago and I've been working in a car dealership ever since. I truly enjoy dealing with people and helping them solve problems. I'm ready to take this to the next level by entering the tech sales field and helping a SaaS company grow its revenue.* - **My top 3 skills:** These should be the same as you included in the header, but here you have some space to elaboarte and be a little more specific. Here's an example: - Communication - Communicating with others comes easy to me through any medium - Empathy - Getting into another person's feet comes natural to me - Resilience - I handle rejection well and can bounce back fast - **Why I want to get into sales:** A short but strong statement explaining why you want to launch your tech sales career. - **Work experience:** List your last job positions and the duration - **Languages:** List any languages you speak and their level. Be honest. ### 2. My sales portfolio :::success ⚠️ **This section is to be filled as you progress through the bootcamp.** ::: In this section, we will ask you to include work samples from your activities in the bootcamp that performed well or you're particularly proud of: - LinkedIn posts - LinkedIn messages - Emails - Recorded calls or snippets thereof - Anything else you want to share Keep it in mind and update it regularly as you progress through the bootcamp! ### 3. My perfect match Once again, this one should stem from the exercises you have done in your personal branding canvas. - What are you looking for in company culture? - How do you like to be led and managed? ### 4. Coaching corner - Leave this one up to your coach 😉 ## 🤔 What's next?
