# ✍️ Final Assignment: Create your ideal weekly calendar as SDR
At the beginning of this module we asked you to organize and optimize your calendar for the then upcoming cold calling task.
In the meantime, you also engaged with leads / prospects via email and social channels. You did multiple follow ups via different channels and maybe also had to research new leads after you ran out your initial set of leads from module 5. In other words, you should now have a much better understanding of all prospecting activities and their necessary time invest.
Because of that, we are finally asking you to create your *ideal* weekly calendar as if you were to start as SDR tomorrow.
## The assignment
Reflecting on your activities done throughout modules 5 and 6, show us what your ideal weekly calendar would look like if you were to start as SDR Monday.
:::info
- [ ] For this exercise, assume that you are working as a full-time (40 hours) SDR for a SaaS company.
- [ ] Create your ideal weekly schedule (Monday - Friday) for this sales role that shows a detailed view of how your organize yourself in order to achieve your quota.
- [ ] Your quota: Schedule 20 meetings a month for your AE colleagues.
- [ ] Include all necessary activities (e.g. cold calling, lead research, social, lunch break 😉 etc.) and reflect on all learnings you have generated so far like: Are there specific times that work best for cold calling? What channels have shown best initial results? What times of day do you feel most productive? How long does research and lead preparation really take? Just to name a few.
- [ ] We want to see a calendar with hourly slots and blockers (you can screenshot your professional calendar).
:::
As we have stressed before, great time and self-management skills are crucial to any successful salesperson. Especially with many rivaling priorities happening at the same time. Please think carefully and create a schedule that can help you stay focused and get all activities done that are needed for you to be successful. Done well, this will be a huge help to you WHEN you start your new sales job.
We encourage you to create a weekly schedule directly on your calendar app and upload a screenshot. Alternatively, you can draw it with pen and paper or sketch it up using MS Excel or comparable.
