# Hyrise Code of Conduct
We are a mission-driven company.
Amongst other things, this means **we take our core values extremely seriously**. Given you are now a member of our community, we want to share them with you too as they have clear implications on how we interact with one another.
## Why we exist
:::info
We believe everybody with the right mindset can contribute value in the digital economy, provided they have **access to education** and **career opportunities.**
We strive to enable this by building the **#futureofeducation**:
- **Accessible** to all
- **Personalized** to each individual, and
- **Designed for employability**

## Our guiding Values
> **Take care of yourself** [color=#F57E7C]
We always make time for whatever keeps us balanced.
> **Curious to grow** [color=#F57E7C]
We are hungry to learn and intrinsically motivated to explore our potential to the fullest.
> **Love people and their stories** [color=#F57E7C]
We actively listen to people’s stories and support them on their individual journeys.
> **Own the outcome** [color=#F57E7C]
Once we commit, we fully own it. No ego, no excuses, no finger pointing.
## What this means for you
Following our mission and values, there is a certain code of conduct that we expect every Hyriser to follow:
* **Show interest and respect:** For each community member's individual story and life path.
* **Be positive:** To yourself and the progress you are making as well as to your peers in enouraging them on their individual learning journey.
* **Embrace reciprocity:** Give and receive feedback how you would like to be treated yourself - respectful, empathetic and encouraging.
* **100% ownership:** We expect you to show full responsibility in putting in the time, effort and dedication to achieve the best possible learning effect.
* **Make the most of the program:** This course has been designed for you. Fully use all resources of the program: the lessons, extra reads, peers, coaches and training company.
Alright! Now that is clear, let's have a look at how to solve any doubts you might have during the program.
