# Sourcing great job opportunities
As you know, through Hyrise we will connect you directly to our network of hiring partners. We've spent alot of time securing these hiring partners and making sure they offer great places to work, so we ask that you give them preference and give your best effort when interviewing with them.
Having said this, if none of those opportunities work out for different reasons, it's also important you begin to look for opportunities yourself too. This is a skill that will serve you throughout your whole life.
It's time to start filling up your pipeline!
## Step 1: What do you want?
Remember your ICP and ICB? Same principle here. Before you begin screening for potential opportunities, it's important to narrow down what you want.
You might have already done this when defining your goal for your personal brand, but in this one we want you to go a little bit deeper. Answer the following questions:
- Location: Where are you willing to work?
- Industry: Is there a specific industry you're drawn to?
- Company size: Are you looking for a smaller company or a bigger one?
- Culture: What kind of culture do you prefer? Make sure it aligns with your values!
- Roles: What roles will you be going for? Sales Development Rep? Business Development Rep? Account Executive?
- Other: Any other criteria that is important to you.
## Step 2: Start looking
Let's have a look at two main ways through which you can discover job opportunities:
### 1. Job Boards
This one is pretty straightforward. Aside from the usual suspects (see the list below), we also recommend you search for job boards that are specific to the regions where you're looking for employment. A simple "sales/SDR/BDR/AE jobs in X" on Google should do the trick.
Once you're on the job board, filter for the criteria you have established in step 1 and start screening. When you see an opportunity you like, save it to your tracker with a link to the job opening.
Feeling lazy? Start with these:
- [Linkedin Jobs](https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/)
- [AngelList](https://angel.co/jobs)
- [Indeed](https://es.indeed.com/?r=us)
- [Monster](https://www.monster.com/)
- [Stepstone](https://www.stepstone.com/)
### 2. Networking
Remember when we said that the majority of the jobs is not published? This is why you need to go out and find them!
- Find interesting webinars and events to attend on a regular basis (weekly)
- Connect, meet and chat with the people there
- Openly say you're looking for employment
By now we're sure you are an expert networker and know how to strike a conversation so we won't go too deep into this one. Let the magic of networking work for itself ;)
## Your Task
