Welcome to week 2... it's time to begin the **Prospecting Stage** 🚀
This stage has a different dynamic from what you've seen until now: it's much more practical.
Time to get our hands dirty! 👇
## 🤔 Wait... what exactly is prospecting?
Prospecting is the first step in the sales process. It consists of identifying potential customers, aka prospects, and reaching out to them.
The goal of prospecting is to develop a database of likely customers and then systematically communicate with them in the hopes of converting them from potential customer to current customer.

Don't worry, we explain it in depth at the start of the next module.
## Great! What will be cover during this stage?
You will spend **5 weeks** in prospecting stage. High-level, here's what you will do each week:
- **Week 2:** Learn how to find and document leads + prospecting best practices
- **Week 3:** Approach leads doing cold calls
- **Week 4:** Approach leads doing cold emails
- **Week 5:** Approach leads through LinkedIn
- **Week 6:** Approach leads mixing up all these channels (Cadencing)
