There's something we need to agree on... - ***We cannot land a job for you*.** Landing a new job is a full-time job: it’s hard, time-consuming work, and takes effort and commitment both from the your side and our side. But there's also something we want to make very clear... - ***Everybody who has committed to proactively follow our guidance has been hired**.* Many people have stood in your position before, and shared that mixed feeling of excitement and uncertainty. All the ones with a proactive attitude and a positive mindset have succeeded. &nbsp; ## Looking for a job Unfortunately, being the best salesperson in the world alone won't get you hired. Remember this equation from your Preparing your Career Journey Module during Prework? >Sales skills ≠ Sales Job ⛔ [color=red] > Sales skills + Job Hunting Skills = Sales Job ✅[color=green] Looking for a job is a skill in itself. And like any skill, it needs to be learnt and practiced. Thankfully, a lot of it involves sales and will therefore give you the opportunity to apply your newly learned skills :wink:. Before you interview with any of our hiring partners or companies you have applied to yourself, there's some things we need to work on. Let's have a look at what we will cover in this module👇 &nbsp; :::info ### Module 8 - Preparing for the job hunt In this module, we will show you how to navigate every step in the job search cycle, from crafting your digital profiles, to generating and researching the right companies, to applying, practicing your pitch, sending cover letters and acing your personal interviews. Let's have a look at each section 👇 #### **1. Building your social profiles** Building upon the work you did with your personal branding canvas and Hyrise Profile, we will now focus on the remaining digital profiles that you will need during the job hunt: your LinkedIn and your CV. #### **2. Applying to jobs** As the first step in the job hunt process, we will show you how to source great opportunities and effectively apply to them. #### **3. Interviewing** Once you've applied to jobs you will likely start closing some interviews. In this section we will teach you how to prepare before, during and after the interview. #### **4. Closing the deal** At the end of the job hunt, you will likely start dealing with offers and negotiations. We will show you how to accept, reject and negotiate offers. #### **5.
