Here are the ones that are currently trending the most 👇 &nbsp; ## Sales Engagement Platforms [Sales engagement platforms](https://www.g2.com/categories/sales-engagement) are also a relatively new group of apps that experience a vastly growing adoption (especially in larger tech organizations). Sales engagement software streamlines the sales process by integrating sales communication channels, tools, messaging, materials and automation of task and workflows all in one platform. What they are trying to achieve is that one salesperson could do the work of three salespeople. There are many SEP providers, among the better known are [Outreach](https://www.outreach.io/) and [SalesLoft](https://salesloft.com/). Sales enablement software provides a repository for marketing and sales materials to help salespeople with content that is useful for all stages along the sales process. They don't only ensure that you find the proper content, but they can also track your prospect's engagement within that piece of content. Through analyzing sales calls, the software can identify keywords and topics of conversations so users can quickly jump to those points in the recorded sales calls and further analyze valuable insights. It's mostly used for training. &nbsp; ## Collaboration tools Collaboration tools are all that allow you to work and interact with others more efficiently, internally and externally. Think of messaging apps such as Slack (that we and many tech organizations use ), task and project management apps such as [Asana](https://asana.com/de), [notion](https://www.notion.so/) or Trello and many more. :::info &nbsp; **Why don't we use apps like sales engagement platforms?** *Not all organizations use them, and relying on them before knowing the basics may do more harm than good. It's much better to be a kick-ass salesperson using basic software and then switch to working with tools like that, than the other way around .* ::: <style> body > .ui-infobar, body > .ui-toc, body > .ui-affix-toc, body > .ui-community, body > .document-footer { display: none !important; } </style>
