# Communications between Delegates and Delegators- a PoH solution
# Comunicaciones entre Delegados y Delegadores - una solución de PoH

Cuando se contribuye a proyectos basados en blockchain, es común recibir airdrops. Estos airdrops dan derecho a capacidades de gobernanza, pero no siempre se emplean bien. GitCoin fue pionero en delegar la gobernanza por defecto. Sin embargo, sigue existiendo el problema de la falta de comunicación entre los delegados y los delegadores. Este problema se hace aún más grande cuando un humano participa en varios proyectos.

En Proof of Humanity hemos resuelto este problema de manera manual, sin embargo buscamos automatizarlo a través de un bot en Discord.

Los pasos para implementar esta solución en PoH son:
1. Crear una sección de Discord específicamente para este proposito. En PoH le hemos llamado Senado Planetario. La sección debe tener una sala de conferencias de acceso público.
2. Obter la dirección de un Delegado desde [Discourse](https://gov.proofofhumanity.id/t/delegation-thread/493).
3. Crea un rol en Discord llamado "Senador: [Nombre]"
4. Crea dos canales privados para el "Senador: [Nombre]". Uno con voz y otro con texto.
5. Si el Senador ya está en Discord, asigna su rol de Senador a su handle. Si no, invítalo, pídele que enlace su dirección de PoH y asígnale el rol.
6. Dentro de Snapshot, revisa las direcciones de todos aquellos humanos soberanos que delegaron su voto en él/ella.*
7. Crea un rol en Discord llamado "Delegador: [Nombre]". El rol debe tener los permisos de mostrar automáticamente los canales privados (texto y voz) de su Senador.
8. Asigna el rol "Delegador" a las direcciones del paso 6 que ya son humanos verificados en Discord.
9. Repita el paso 2.

La versión automatizada y conectada a PoH, buscará además de delegar el proceso a un bot, el habilitar a este de funciones adicionales como:

* Chat de Gobernanza Extendido: Al los nombres de usuario de Discord estar vinculados con su registro en PoH, el bot puede buscar todos los tokens de gobernanza que tienen los humanos registrados. Luego, el bot puede buscar los servidores de Discord de esas comunidades y presentarse ante los Administradores de cada servidor. Entonces, el bot creará canales privados en cada comunidad de Discord donde sea autotizado. Cada canal privado sólo será visible para el Delegado específico y sus Delegadores a través de los roles de Discord.

Una consideración es que cada comunidad requiere tener un lugar donde consultar los datos de su Delegador/Delegados para que el bot pueda usarlos para hacer su trabajo.

When contributing to blockchain-based projects, it is common to receive airdrops. These airdrops entitle governance capabilities, but they are not always well employed. GitCoin pioneered on delegating governance by default. However, there is still the problem of a missing communication between Delegates and Delegators. This problem gets even bigger when a human participates in several projects.

In Proof of Humanity we have manually solved this problem, however, we aim to automate it through a Discord bot.

The manual way of doing it is:

1. Create a Discord section specific for this purpose. In PoH we have called Planetary Senate. The section must have a publicly accessible conference room.
2. Get the address of a Senator from Discourse.
3. Create a role in Discord called “Senator: [Name]”
4. Create two private channels for the “Senator: [Name]”. One with voice and with text.
5. If Senator is already in Discord, assign their Senator role to their handle. Otherwise, invite him/her, ask him/her to link their PoH address, and assign him/her the role.
6. Within Snapshot, check the addresses of all those sovereign humans who delegated their vote to him/her.
7. Create a role in Discord called “Delegator: [Name]”. Role must have the permissions of automatically show the private channels (text & voice) of their Senator.
8. Assign the role Delegator to the addresses from step 6 that are already verified humans in Discord.
9. Repeat from step 2.

The automated version, connected to PoH, will seek not only to delegate the process to a bot, but also to enable the bot to perform additional functions such as:

* Extended Governance Chat: By the Discord handle being connected to a PoH registry the bot is able to look for all governance tokens that the human holds. Then, the bot can look for all the Discord servers from those communities and introduce itself to their Admins. The bot will then create private channels in each Discord community where is authorized. Each private channel will be only visible for the specific Delegate and their Delegators through the created Discord roles.

A consideration is that each community requires to have a place where to querry the data from their Delegator/Delegates so that the bot can tap on it to do its job.
