# Crews

## Intro
* Find a ranking of various crew combos at [🇬🇧 John W. Siskar](https://stfc.johnwsiskar.com/hostiles/)
* +FC = enable applicable perks of **F**leet **C**ommanders Kirk, Spock, Locutus, Janeway, Seven, Sloan etc.
* **Lower decks** should always be adapted accordingly to
* maximise ship's officer stats bonuses (health, defense, attack) -- and beyond given bridge officers abilities

* 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, Borg Queen, Gossa, Dezoc, etc. = *Unimatrix Twelve*; i.e., blue Seven ++of Eleven++, etc. (not ~~Seven ++of Nine++~~)
* ENT-E Data, Troi = *Enterprise-E* (mind the **-E** suffix - it is not the ~~TNG crew~~)
* Kirk, Spock = *Enterprise Crew* (neither of ~~ENT-E, TNG, TOS or Cadets crew~~); epic Kirk and blue Spock
* Doc, Seven = *Voyager Crew*; The Doctor and Seven ++of Nine++

## Special Ship Abilities
* [All ship abilities](https://stfc.space/ships?f=$name=Enterprise) of the **USS Enterprise** variants (NCC-1701, -A, -D, -E) depend on Morale (from Kirk, Kim or others)
* The **USS Enterprise** from Shipyard level 34 has a ["built-in Spock" per its ship ability](https://stfc.space/ships/2483093372) → Don't assign Spock to bridge
* The **Augur** [boosts all weapon damage](https://stfc.space/ships/3459465041) if its Obliterator hits a burning enemy (from Nero, Georgiou, Neelix or others)
* The **Borg Cube**'s Cutting Beam always exactly deals [hull damage as per its ability description](https://stfc.space/ships/1823660918); No additional bonuses apply
* The **USS Titan-A**'s buffs are applied to all own ships in the system, then to 2-13 alliance ships. The number of alliance ships buffed [depends on the Titan-A's tier](https://stfc.space/ships/2802730028); alliance ships are buffed in the order of highest attack stats

### Bold Defense
To prevent station raids, especially under Incursion events, you can set up multiple ships in your station to act as a multi-layer defense.
This tactic requires at least five drydocks to be set up. Sixth and more drydocks can then be used for combat, mining end everything else as usual.

Strips shields of your oponent quickly, meaning your damage starts to go to hull much faster, therefore improving chances of winning. Can swap Pike and Moreau for TNG Picard and Beverley for the same results. Can use another ship but result will not be as prevelant without the Jellyfish ability. Although Harrison can be used to provide additional synergy for Yuki, he is better used on a different ship for base defence. |
