Hi!
My name is Hary Ridart, I am from Universitas Indonesia majoring in Computer Engineering. First of all, thanks to you for accessing this page, and I hope you could find what you want to know about my remote intern experience at NTUST’s BMW (Broadband Multimedia Wireless) Lab.
I am really glad that I could be part of the TEEP @AsiaPlus 2020 program and it is a great experience. The program took two months started from July to August, and I am working on Open RAN (O-RAN) focusing on O-RAN Central Unit (O-CU).
Before I took this program, I have learned basic 5G in my college course. But I haven’t learn deeper about this 5G technology. This program allows me to learn deeper about 5G, especially in O-RAN. Focusing on my topic during the internship, I have learned about how O-CU works with other RAN components, how it delivers the data, what protocol inside the O-CU, etc. I also made a summary note in HackMD platform for recording of my works.
This program gives me experience in managing my time, project, and how to work in a team properly. I have to make a project time management to plan what I need to learn for the next day/week during the internship and then presenting about what I have learned every week.
I would like to thank you to Prof. Ray as my supervisor and Jonathan as my mentor for leading me on my intern topic. Also, Ferlinda and Alexander for their great works in this team.
