# Week 2 and 3

After the fantastic EthCC, it's finally decided that I will be working on Fast Confirmation Rule with EF Protocol Consensus Team and Lighthouse Team.

I will have a chat with Roberto this week to discuss on how we should take the EPF project forward, given the fact that the specs of FCR has changed, and I will be implementing the new one in Lighthouse from scratch.

The [proposal](https://hackmd.io/@harsh-ps-2003/SJSOZISVge) is updated now with latest information that I got from Roberto. After discussion with him, I will narrow it down even more, and add a detailed weekwise roadmap.

Also, I will be presenting the project - [slides](https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1H4qMiQIcagu64iyQqh-QR7GjbLO0ekR9KNDDcBV0s6A/edit?usp=sharing) in the Office Hours this week as I was not able to attend EthCC becuase of academic restrictions ;(

After getting my proposal reviewed by the teams, upon getting the green signal, I will start working on the project from week 5.

Overall, pretty excited to finally getting my hands dirty. I really like this project becuase it fits into my archetype of being a Research Engineer.
