# Week 4

Had a introductory call with Roberto, and finally Michael from Lighthouse Team and Mikhail from Consensys has also joined the project. I am blessed with a legendary mentoring team!

I successfully wrapped up presenting Fast Confirmation Rule - [slides](https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1H4qMiQIcagu64iyQqh-QR7GjbLO0ekR9KNDDcBV0s6A/edit?usp=sharing), in the Office Hours.

Finally wrapped up my [proposal](https://hackmd.io/@harsh-ps-2003/SJSOZISVge), and got a positive feedback from the mentors! There are some technical discussions going on 11.5 sec choice in Lighthouse, and Michael is trying to refactor the code, he dosen't seem to like the architecure much. Also, some discussions about Proposer Boost is happening, due to that -500ms mark. When we compute the weights in FCR, we should not have proposer boost weight.

Now, its time to start getting my hands dirty in Week 5. I will read a lot of code this week - both spec and lighthouse, and start doing the implementation as per the week-wise roadmap.

Pumped up. It's gonna be a wild ride.
