# Guide for completing MRC ‘Research, GDPR & Confidentiality – what you really need to know' training

This is a guide on how to ensure you have completed the right MRC module to access the Data Safe Haven, as a Turing employee or secondee.

## Setup

1. Go to [MRC training website](https://byglearning.com/mrcrsc-lms/course/index.php?categoryid=1)
2. Click on the 'Research, GDPR & Confidentiality – what you really need to know' title


3. You will be prompted to sign in. If you don't have an account, follow the instructions to register


## Accessing the course

4. You should now be redirected to the course page. It consists of a number of videos and supporting resources. Make your way through the course.


## Taking the assessment

5. When you are ready, load the 'Research, GDPR and confidentiality quiz'


6. Once you have passed the quiz, you should see a link titled 'Research, Data and Confidentiality Quiz Certificate'. Click this link and then click 'View certificate'


7. Your certificate should look like this:


8. Send the certificate to James Robinson ([e-mail])
