### （將檔案）移進（Git 的）新修訂版準備區域

stage 動詞原始的涵義是「上台表演」，可類比為將要{提交|commit}進新{修訂版|revision}之內容先集合於演出舞台布幕後方準備{出場表演|被提交為新修訂版}

#### 例句

> We need to **stage** it (add it to the "index") with the [git add](https://git-scm.com/docs/git-add) command before committing it later.
