About Spotlight

Oftentimes we'd like open another note to refer to while editing the current one.

Another use case is you have a series of notes to work through, and you want to open the next one without going back to your workspace.

How to bring up Spotlight

You can bring up Spotlight by clicking the icon to the top of the navigation bar or keyboard shortcuts.

You have to sign in to HackMD first

Windows	Mac
`Ctrl` + `Shift` + `P`	`Cmd` + `Shift` + `P`

Enter some keywords and press Enter ⮐ to search within titles and tags.
Tip
1. Spotlight also lists the notes you recently opened for quick access.
2. Press ↑ and ↓ to select the note, and
- Open it in current tab: press ⮐
- Open it in a new tab: pressCmd + ⮐ or Ctrl + ⮐
