## What is REP?
Rep is a reputation token.
You need 5 REP to stake your reputation when you make a post.
You earn 5 REP when your post is promoted by the voters.
You loose 5 staked REP when your post is demoted by the voters
You earn 1 REP by voting on posts as the majority of voters.

Reputation is something you earn and can be used to stake and/or to prove your trustworthiness (when used as an attestation).

## What is GO?
Go is the play-token in Kurate, it stimulates participation.
At the beginning of each cycle (8 hours), you get 30 free GO.
You need 5 GO when you make a post
You need 1 GO to vote on a post
At the end of a cycle, all leftover GO are burnt.

## What is a cycle?
A cycle is a fixed time period of 8 hours.
In these 8 hours you get 30 GO, you can post and vote on posts and at the end of the cycle, a state change happens:
promoted posts go to the public timeline
demoted posts disappear
You win/loose REP
the leftover GO tokens are burnt

## What is a persona?
a Persona is a group identity that allows anonymous community members to create and curate public content together.

## Can I chat with someone?
Yes, you can chat with the author of a post, but you will never know who/she is, only that he/she posted thet specific post as that specific persona
