# Session 32 (2023-02-11)
We are in what we assume is the swamp of the [The Arbor Witch](/tvvZFxX4Tp-NipoQNpdP-w), but the fog is too dense for us to see much.
[The previous session](/NJSoGhNeTT6IDZfzArpjNw) ended with a clever combination of spells to propel [Aelen](/8uCZ8WhjQeyghi-_mxgOFg) high into the air, to take a look around above the fog.
There is elevated ground to the North, which we believe to be where The Arbor Witch lives, so we started heading North.
## Wading throught he swamp
The journey is slow, as we're wading through the swamp.
We saw an island with two leather recliners on it, but we choose to avoid it and continue travelling North, until we decide to settle for the night, on a small island.
## MONSTER!
We wake up in the morning and continue on the journey, but quickly run into a dragon-looking creature coming out of the water.

We defeat the beast and spend the rest of the day harvesting it for parts.
19 hydra teeth, including canines.
2 hornes. One has a bit of skull attached.
1.5 x 6 feet skin with scales.
After this we settle in for a long rest.
## Night time fun
During Aelen's watch, a Behir came slithering up, ate a
8 Behir teeth, 8 cm long
1 lightning sack
700 gp and behir hide.

We all leveled up!
## Morning in the Swamp
In the morning, we were met by the crow from earlier on our journey. He gave us the message "The garden seems to have grown thorns" and delivered 3 rings.
The rings were *Rings of Temporal Salvation*

If you have any levels of exhaustion, reduce your level of exhaustion by 1. Once the ring is used, it turns to dust and is destroyed.

I asked the crow to look ahead for us and he tells us that there is higher grounds to the North.
## Walking North
The next day we continue North. We travel all day and nothing special happens.
At night, Aelen creates a Tiny Hut for us, which is a new trick he just learned.
## Shooting Aelen into the Sky
When we got up in the morning, we did the Rope Trick + Thunderstep trick again, to shoot Aelen above the fog, where he could scout ahead.
He saw the high ground again, now just about a day away and he also saw two Griffons between us and the higher ground.
There were other flying creatures towards the west.
We made a slight correction to get back on course and we continued walking North.
## Dragon bats
As we approach some dry ground, I hear a big creature whooshing above us. Shortly after, two weird things, looking like a giant cross between a bat and a dragon, land on the island near us.
Zov charges the nearest creature and Aelen and I both get some spells off to assist Zov, after which she completely innihilates the beast.

We end up victorious and decide to take a short rest. By our best estimation, the home of [The Arbor Witch](/tvvZFxX4Tp-NipoQNpdP-w#The-Arbor-Witch) is less than half a day's travel away and we can get there before we need another long rest, if we so choose.
