## Guarding a caravan
[Zov](/cfjMmRWhRx2a5saKtmMwaQ) and I were hired by a dwarf named [Forbel Leatherhead](/RAW9i2xIQAuk_02ysO674g#Forbel-Leatherhead), to guard his caravan on a journey from [Gormsey](/wSaNdyngTMWxI2ed2xwXHg) to [Goldkeep](/Ccl0zw4SQc6Z83MED4Hamg) via [The Arcane University](/JCJSR03NQDOAVdd8kBRAYw) and [Imyr](/LfoRx_GvTSeEkH4qYqM_Vw).

## At the Arcane university
At The Arcane University, we picked up two arcane users named [Aelen Lightheel](/8uCZ8WhjQeyghi-_mxgOFg) and [Stanfield](/TWrGl85nSwq_ZukcwAQoFQ). They are transporting a chest to [Mage Claville](/RAW9i2xIQAuk_02ysO674g#Mage-Claville) in Imyr.

## Evening on the 5th day
A couple of km north of [Imyr](/LfoRx_GvTSeEkH4qYqM_Vw) we met a group of about 50 soldiers, led by [Lieutenant Dinald Loe](/czeI4SF5Tg2rWorACFxtPg) of the Imyr army.

He informed us, that the army of [Northern Baronies](/OpsNni7WTxiUotI-xinfKw) were nearby and we should hurry to Imyr. He provided us with two mounted soldiers for extra protection.

## Ambushed
On the road, we got ambushed by human soldiers.
One enemy soldier wearing leather armor, leather helmet and wielding a 2 handed sword, jumped the lead Imyr soldier and knocked him to the ground. Shortly thereafter, several archers apeared from our flanks.
I focused my fire on the guy in front, hoping to be able to help our new ally currently lying on the ground, while trusting my companions to keep the flanking ambushers at bay.
We ended up victorious, but sadly the soldier who took the brunt of the initial attack, ended up falling to the cowards.

As they lay on the ground, I noticed the symbol of a thistle on their uniform.

I looted a Greatsword and a Longsword from the corpses of my enemies.

## Arrival at Imyr
As we arrived at Imyr, our wagons were seized by the guards and we were led to some barracks near the gate. Here we were ordered to stay for the night.

Zov and I were paid half the agreed upon amount for the job (5 gold and 7 silver each), while the others were paid 5 gold each for their efforts defending the caravan.

We did a little bit of gambling in our quarters and I won 7 silver from Zov and Aelen each in a game of cards.

## Sightseeing in Imyr
The following day, we were allowed access to the city, so we went sightseeing.

First stop was a bar called "The White Cross". where we had a few drinks.

I bought some bread at the bakery next door (2 white, 2 dark for 1 copper each).

We learned that the [Steward Monora](/-6OvDpIeTpmCGBItceFRlA) rules the city.

I also bought half a dozen pastries and two fruit cakes as well as 6 pints of red wine.

## Sabotage at the granaries
Someone tried to light the granaries on fire last night.
The guards at the grannaries were not looking for help, but we offered and the Sergeant took note.
