--- tags: notes start-time: 2022-09-07 17:00 CEST end-time: 2022-09-07 21:00 CEST --- # Session 12 (2022-09-07) [TOC] ## Current status [The previous session](/jQRhfbOKSsitPk3F9PupDg) ended in the morning with us eating porridge, on our way following a creek upstream, looking for the Fossegrim ## Aging tree Midday, came to a clearing with a big oak-like tree. Leaves grow in seconds, turn brown and fall off and the cycle starts over. Each cycle lasts about 15 seconds. 150ft wide canopy. The aging effect is only under it. [Aelen](/8uCZ8WhjQeyghi-_mxgOFg) went near the tree and his har and nails started growing extremely fast. He backed out after 5 minutes. ## Foothills Towards the evening, we started getting into more hilly terrain. The trees are big and mostly blocking out the sky. Decided to stop and set up camp and I went hunting while Aelan and Stan set up the camp. White deer. Let it go. Tiny creature about 6 inches tall with human body and dragon fly wings appear, flying towards me. It throws me a gold coin with a picture of a dear head on each side. The coin is about 1" diameter and is weighty. Aelan identified the coin and it's a coin of transformation. It will allow me to transform into a deer for an hour. ## Night time I took first watch and spotted a cloud of fireflies hovering over the creek about 70 feet away. After a while they dove into the water and a female voice started singing behind a bush across the stream. I started singing from my side of the stream, but apparently it wasn't great and I heard something jumping back into the water. The rest of the night went by uneventful. ## Morning Packed up camp and started walking. Trees are getting smaller and there are more and more rocks in the undergrowth. Eventually we reached the foothills of the mountains, where there is a waterfall about 20m tall. I called out for the Fossegrim, but nothing happened. Aelan did the same and a violin started playing somewhere above the waterfall. ## Above the waterfall - Meeting the Fossegrim There was a pond above the waterfall and when Stan called out in Primordial, a male person appeared. Asked about the 4 arch feys. He told me that "The Mirror Lady" lives up north in a big tower. Halfway up a mountain. The tower is shining white. Needed to jump into the lake for him to show me where the others live. Jumped into the lake with the water dude. Saw a vision. One of the streams leading back towards where the smithie was, ending in a swamp. One of the streams, heading west, turns into a wide river. Flows past a forest and a canyon, then another forrest, turning into massive oak trees. Vision ends when I see a man with a deer head and antlers among the oak trees. Chainmail armor, axe and shield. Third vision. Stream runs south and turns into a wide slow river. Running through plains with massive herds of animals. Big flocks of birds, including massive swans. 1. Lady of the Looking Glass AKA The Mirror Lady Lives up north in a big tower. Halfway up a mountain. The tower is shining white. Closest to the pond. 2. The Green Man West, in the forrest. Second closest. 4. The Arbor Witch East, in the swamp. Furthest away. 5. Prince of the Chase South, in the plains. Third closest. ## The Fossegrim's Wife The Fossegrim told us that his wife has wandered away and if we see her, he would like us to ask her to return. ## Headed towards the tower Since [The The Lady of the Looking Glass](/tvvZFxX4Tp-NipoQNpdP-w#Lady-of-the-Looking-Glass) was the nearest, we decided to start out by travelling to see her. The river flows through the valleys, but we walk the hillside. 2 Rocs (creepy big and dangerous birds) fly over us and we decide to head down between the trees. As we reach the mountain, we need to cross the river. We construct a raft. In the middle of the river, we starting spinning around and fought against the current for a while. ## End of session [Next session](/X3658k54TaiwUtkp2tw3Sw) is scheduled for 2022-07-16 17:00 CEST.
