# Session 19 (2022-09-17)

## Current status
We ended [the previous session](/9cqMSQt_QMOC8MaeW-S_VA) mid-shopping, after [Zov](/cfjMmRWhRx2a5saKtmMwaQ) bought me a crossbow and herself a shield.
The Goblins informed us that the elves across the bridge would likely have other items for sale.
We went there and bought some healing potions.

## Finding The Green Man
To find The Green Man, we were told to follow the river, until we reached unusually large and old oak trees, so we started heading West.

The river here is about 20m and 1-1½ meter deep at the most.
Crystal clear water with fish.

After a day's travel, we set up camp about 10 meters from the stream.

Ground is moist with moss.
I shot a rabbit to cook for dinner.

## Big oak trees and Antler-man
After about a full day of walking, we come to the big oak trees.
In a clearing, there is an 8' tall warrior with humanoid body and the head of a dear sitting in the middle.
He carries a big axe and a shield.

### Quest for the tree
Follow the stream until you get to a big hill.
On the hill there is a tree.
Something is draining the tree and it has stopped responding.

## Set up Camp
We set up camp near the river and during the night I heard a sound nearby and found a fox caught in a trap.
I freed the fox and went back to bed.

## In the morning
The next morning I felt awesome.
> +5 max HP
I handed the trap back to The Green Man and he was pretty upset about it.
He told us that if we see more, we should burn them, as that removes their ability to hurt fey creatures.

We took some delicious breakfast and continued on our journey.

## The Tree on the Hill
Around noon, we reached a big hill with a massive tree on top.

Decided to climb the hill and there was a big opening in the tree.
The path up to the hill was across a ravine, with some big roots covering it, allowing us to pass.

I found a nice sniping spot, while Zov and Aelan approached the tree.

Some creepy crawlers came out and shot their spikes at us, but we defeated them.

## Entering the tree
Walked in and down stairs to under the tree. A big 15-25' tall area.

Combat ensued and we got our behinds wooped.

When Zov came dangerously close to death, we retreated and are now outside the entrance, being persued by the needle creatures.
