--- tags: notes start-time: 2022-08-13 17:15 CEST end-time: 2022-08-13 20:30:00 CEST --- # Session 16 (2022-08-13) [TOC] ## Current status [The previous session](/tzaRJkOcRRG48w85S6r7Aw) ended with us slaying a glass golem in the mirror world, as we were trying to find the mirror image of [The Lady of the Looking Glass](/tvvZFxX4Tp-NipoQNpdP-w#Lady-of-the-Looking-Glass). Aelan is hurt from the fight with the golem so he takes 12 Goodberries (8 remaining). ## Mirror images Our mirror images crawled out from a mirror and started following us. When we reached a dead end, we decided to make a stand and confront them. When they attack, they drain 3 strength. Used another 4 Goodberries to heal myself (4 remaining). As we passed the mirror again, 3 more mirror images emerged. I was attacked and it drained my strengh another 3, to 1. We realised each mirror image only attacks the matching person, so we used that to our advantaged and defeated them. Then we took a long rest. ## After long rest Moved back towards the last area that we had not yet explored and came across a mirror showing a couple of hexagonal mirrors and a throne. Found another mirror-mirror and Zov pushed it over, so it shattered. 4 mirrors show hexagonal columns, but only one show a throne, so we go back to that and walk through it. We appear in the room with the pillars and the throne. ## The Throne Room We met ydaL and she spoke inverted, so we did a few tricks to understand her and be understood. Eventually we spoke to her and she agreed to come back and be the mirror image of The Lady of the Looking Glass, but wanted some time off occasionally, as it is a very boring job. ## Travelling back She led us back to the mirror that we initially came through and we travelled back to [the other plane](/uWzfqyfFRW2D_bbPMdgfOg). The Lady agreed to not look into the mirror on Mondays and Thursdays, to give her reflection a rest. She also agreed to lift her part of the enchantment, that keeps the plane separated from the Feywild. The Lady kissed Aelan and he received the Wood Elf Magic feat.
