Please take care of it for me and i will give your proposal it’s due consideration. You will return when the sun rises on the third day. Be inside this room when the time is up, otherwise there’s no telling just exactly where you’ll return to. The tower is due northwest perhaps a mile. There on the dresser is something that might come in handy.” She has sent us to the material plane and expects us to complete the quest and destroy the castle. On the morning of the third day, we need to be back in the room in order to return to [The Forgery](/uWzfqyfFRW2D_bbPMdgfOg). After a short discussion, we decided to go to the castle to dicover our options. ## At the castle At the castle is a guard named [Sir Tavin](/NqvJZvmcT1KUjvLJRBOEzg#Sir-Tavin), saying they are building the castle for [Lord Kelmor](/NqvJZvmcT1KUjvLJRBOEzg#Lord-and-Lady-Kelmor). He tells us that we are in Ostwood, in the [Kingdom of Skard](/H6sRV4Q9Q9aIxQNf7EQ7JA). We are about half a day's travel East of the river and about a week's travel West of [The Arcane University](/JCJSR03NQDOAVdd8kBRAYw). When we left this plane, it was late fall or early winter, but it is now late summer. Sir Tavin explains that the siege of [Imyr City](/LfoRx_GvTSeEkH4qYqM_Vw) ended in an assault, where the previous lord of these lands was slain and Imyr was ultimately victorious. Lord Kelmor has been given lordship over these lands and is moving here from the the Eastern Skard. Lord Kelmor will arrive this same evening. We go and set up our tent and await the arrival of the new lord. ## The Lord arrives After the Lord arrives, we manage to arrange an audience, after telling them why we are there. We told the lord and lady our story and they were amused, but did not take us very seriously. We came up with a plan, to try and travel to the Arcane University for assistance, but just before the sun rises on the second morning, we will climb into the extradimensional space of a Rope Trick, which will hopefully make us out of reach of the Arbor Witch. ## Travelling East towards the university We travelled for a day, having only an encounter with a flesh eating plant, but apart from that, everything went smoothly. The next day went by without any issues at all and in the morning we all went up the rope and prepared ourselves for what was about to happen. ## Flying High Suddenly we were hovering in mid-air, seemingly inside a cloud. The Rope Trick spell had ended and we had had been transported to what appeared to be another dimension. Using only the power of the mind, we were both able to communicate as well as move around in the air and we could see what appeared to be the outline of something, possibly trees, so we headed towards it. ## End of session [The next session](/Jww2CCjQSSK5jzzzpyvoqg) is scheduled for 2023-01-29 at 16:00 CET. Next week cj will be busy with work, so we will probably be having a one-shot, likely with a system other than D&D.
