# Session 27 (2022-12-10)

## Current status
We ended [the last session](/wgVD_2qjSBWkMJfWvSypcg) travelling North looking for a group of Elves, hoping they can help us get through the swamp and locate [The Arbor Witch](/tvvZFxX4Tp-NipoQNpdP-w#The-Arbor-Witch).
We got a tip from some ducks that the Elves are about 10 minutes flight North of us and there is about 2-3 hours remaining until we need to rest.


## Travelling North
After walking 20-25 minutes, we came to a clearing and a bunch of arrows (15 at least) smacked into the trees around us.
5 Elves were visible across the clearing and [Aelen](/8uCZ8WhjQeyghi-_mxgOFg) walked towards them, trying to introduce us.
[Zov](/cfjMmRWhRx2a5saKtmMwaQ) convinced them to trade a boat for her Pariah Shield.

## Row row row your boat
We sailed South-East and after a few hours, we heard a big roar to the East, so we changed course to head more South.

Later we came across a small island with a bird bath and a perfectly kept lawn.
The water was poisonous and there was the skeleton of a bird inside it, so we flipped over the bird bath to prevent the accidental death of more birds.

A little later in the day, we arrived at another small island, but this time it had a gazebo on it.
Against our better judgement, we went ashore and lit a fire (that was already prepared in the gazebo).
I took the first watch and quickly fell asleep.
After some hours, Aelan finished his meditation and saw that I was sleeping, so he woke up both me and Zov.

## Night time
We discovered that it had become night time. There were stars and a full moon in the sky and the grassy island was now covered with shale.
It was decided that we should simply go back to bed and hope things had returned to normal in the morning.

## Wakey wakey
In the morning, everything was as it used to be, but a handful of shale I had picked up the night before, was still here, so it seemed like we were actually transported somewhere else, the night before.

Aelan says he did some further investigation and found a spell on the fireplace.

We then decided to continue travelling South-East.

## Gently down the stream
During our otherwise pleasant and somewhat romantic rowing trip, we were surised by a group of crocodiles.

The battle was tough and I may have gone unconscious at one point, but we were ultimately victorious.

Afterwards we set up camp and went to bed.
