# ICON-C Memory Manager Extensions

Placeholder the extensions to be made to the memory-manager.git repository to
support C/C++ bindings (CB, Florian Prill)

FTE: 0.5 for 1 cycle (15 days)

## Goals

- Get variable aggregates (key-value store) implementation of Christopher incorporated in memory_manager.git

## No-Goals

- Implement in the existing in the current Fortran layer

## Potential Time Sinks

- Some dependence on external partners, like the build system.
- Technical problems in handling variables and descriptors from memory manager.
