# Code for Cause Letter
###### tags: `Letters`
Hi Kunal,
Thank you for agreeing to hear me out. It's been a fulfilling albeit challenging journey up till now working on open software and open education, and I'll always be grateful for the platform Code For Cause gave us in the Spring of Code programme. We have never had as many unique visitors check out our website before.
The purpose of this email is to draw your attention to some of the interesting initiatives I've been connected with in India so that they can get the promotional benefit that I experienced in March.
**Here are a list of benefits I can see:**
- Your audience will get inspired by getting the chance to hear genuine conversations with young south asian entrepreneurs in open source, social impact, and educational technology spaces
- There is cross promotional benefit for all of our organizations
- Since plenty of students get rejected from summer open source programs as false negatives, this is a chance for them to find some meaningful work where they can develop their skills and experience
## The Oraganizations
### Rahul Garg (Cato & NavGurukul)

The first item on this list is an individual rather than an organization, but this is a pretty fascinating individual who is very involved in the Indian Social Good startup ecosystem. He introduced me to funding for Grey software through Cato and [Dr. Malpani](https://twitter.com/malpani), and it was from them that I found out about beyond exams and learning to earn. Rahul is involved in a lot, and I know recently he's doing something big with NavGurukul but I'm not sure what.

### Grey Software
Since we last appeared during the spring of code program, our ecosystem has grown with the addition of [Focused Browsing](https://org.grey.software/focused-browsing), and some new team members that have continued to build out our ecosystem. I have also connected with many interesting people in the Indian social impact start up ecosystem, I think it would be valuable for you and I to discuss that amongst other things.

Once again, thank you for hearing me out and I hope you consider this.
Sincerely,
Arsala
