# LUMS Collaboration Email Dear Ms. Fatima Bilquis, My name is Arsala, and I learned about the TPI through my references Arooj Naveed and Haris Muneer, who have collaborated with the TPI before. I am writing this email to introduce my organization and outline some collaboration paths that we can explore. I founded Grey Software, a not-for-profit venture based in Canada and on a mission to democratize software education. We create open-source software with students worldwide and publish what we learn along the way. [https://grey.software](https://grey.software) [https://resources.grey.software](https://resources.grey.software) [https://learn.grey.software](https://learn.grey.software) So far, I have hosted student interns from UofT(Canada) and UET-Mardan(Pak), and run seminars at AJKU(Pak) & UCP(Pak). I have currently put student internships on hold while my team does fundraising and R&D, but I would be honored to run workshops and seminars at LUMS with topics like: - Exploring the world of open-source software as a university student - Markdown: A simple language that unlocks communicating and publishing on the web - HTML, CSS, Javascript: Understanding the backbone of the web to prepare for the future - How Design Thinking can help you create better software - CS Etymology: The Fascinating History behind words like Algorithm and Bit Depending on what you think would be best, I can collaborate directly with the TPI or through representatives from student chapters that you recommend. I appreciate your consideration, and I hope our collaboration can provide meaningful value to LUMS students! Sincerely, Arsala Bangash
