# Non-Profit/Edu Plan Request Emails
###### tags: `Letters`
### AWS
Hello Amazon education team,
My name is Arsala and I am the founder and President of Grey software. I am writing this email to add additional context to my request for an education/nonprofit plan for my organisation.
We are launching a program in Pakistan called the open source apprenticeship, which you can read more about here: LINK
We are hoping to leverage the free credits or educational infrastructure support offered by the AWS educate or NFP program for projects such as creating a dedicated Gitpod kubernetes cluster for our incoming batch of students. Our mentors have faced lag developing on gitpod.io and we were hoping to have aws.gitpod.grey.software served in a region close to Pakistan so that we can have a better collaborative development experience.
We have already secured an education license from Gitpod, but we don't have enough time to set up our own K8S cluster, so we're instead hoping to use the available configuration from AWS.
Our scenario is as follows:
14 students developing modern full stack web applications.
4 mentors (+-2) mentoring modern full stack web applications using Nuxt and Next.
The duration of this program is the next 15 weeks, however I hope we can establish a long-term relationship since our requirements will change as we scale and sign up new universities.
Thank you for considering our organisation to be a part of your education licence program. I hope to hear from your team soon and I'll be happy to answer any more questions they have.
### Gitlab
Hello Gitlab team,
My name is Arsala and I am the founder and President of Grey software. I am writing this email to request in expedited education licence for my organisation to be able to leverage sum of Gitlab's premium features for our incoming batch of open-source apprentices.
This is a part of our program called the open source apprenticeship, witch you can read more about here: LINK
We are hoping to leverage the ability to have a templates subgroup for our organization so students can create documentation websites, personal blogs, web apps, etc.
I'm sure there are many other features given in the educational license that we have yet to discover.
In the point of not using this license for internal infrastructure, I want to be transparent and say that the templates for our students will also be used within the organisation. however, I store feel that the organisation does so in the spirit of education because we want students to be using the same bleeding edge of technology that we are.
Thank you for considering our organisation to be a part of your education licence program. I hope to hear from your team soon and I'll be happy to answer any more questions they have.
