# Grey Software Open Gov MOU ###### tags: `Parternships` ## Motivation 🏁 The government of AJK signs MOUs or memorandums of understanding with private and not for profit entities they are collaborating with. By signing one of these documents, we can increase the credibility of the organization. ## Initiative 👁️‍🗨️ We hope to sign an MOU with the government of AJK's IT board to provide open-source software development consultancy for a project that we helped ideate with the municipal corporation of Muzaffarabad. Task List 🛠️ The following are the items we need for the MOU #### Company description Grey Software is a not-for-profit organization that empowers citizens of the world to create and use open-source software. #### Date of Commencement #### What will the company provide 1. We will provide consultancy for open source technology, specifically in the domains of devops, collaboration tooling, and modern web application development. The technologies we use are listed here: org.grey.software/technologies 2. We will share our research and development findings from our open governance project, which is a suite of software tools designed to democratize digital local governance. ## Impact 💥 This will be our first formal collaboration between a government entity and will give a great boost to our public portfolio. Through this, we can also develop our Open Governance application.
