# Project JSAP One Pager

## Overview

[Datapoint solutions](https://datapoint.com.pk/) is building a Job Search and Applications Platform that they want to offer as a software service to provincial governments for non-public-service-commission (PSC) and project-based jobs.

Datapoint plans on partnering with the [NTC](https://ntc.net.pk/) to accomplish this by

- Leveraging the NTC's mandate and hosting infrastructure
- Having the NTC offer this service to the governments as they offer other technical solutions
- Unifying the application mechanism for non-PSC and project jobs for Pakistan's provincial governments

### The problem

Provincial governments currently don't have a standardized digital hiring platform.

This prevents them from getting insights and managing how to staff jobs with high quality candidates.

### Concerning Figures

From partially collected data from the KP PMRU, There were **6853 posts** and **323521 applicants** across 21 KP gov departments during 2021.

5539 posts were filled, leaving **19% of pots unfilled**.

Governments currently lack any meaningful insights or monetization from **over 323521 applications**.


### The opportunity

The NTC stands to take a share of the projected **380+ Million PKR per year** as part of a shared revenue agreement with DPS and the governments that use the platform.
