# Introducing Green Sofa

We're Green Sofa ([why?](https://hackmd.io/@greensofa/why-we-are-green-sofa)), also as GreenPill Taiwan, founded on 2023-09-13.

## Our Mission

We aim to bring more people into regenerative web3 world, aligning with vision of [Green Pill Network](https://greenpill.network) (GreenPill) and [Formosa Art Bank DAO (FAB DAO)]((https://project.fab.tw)).

> FAB DAO focuses on minting and selling non-profit NFT, creating artist and collector communities, building blockchain experiences and designing blockchain education for the public.

> With goodness and eternity as our starting point, we are building a connected Web3 metaverse. We will apply the good features of blockchain to take the real actions in the real world.

## What We Have Done

- 2024-07: Invited Marcus from OP 中文力量 ([@optimismzh](https://x.com/@optimismzh)) to introduce Optimism RetroPGF 5 and discuss EasyRetroPGF with GreenSofa's local experience.
- 2024-06: GreenSofa's [first NFT on akaSwap](https://www.akaswap.com/akaobj/25336) platform on Tezos chain
- 2024-05: Core active contributor mashbean shared in g0v summit 2024: Global experiment of QF - Gitcoin — a new type of international NGO local "Grant is Great" QF round insight ([tweet](https://x.com/GreenSofa_TW/status/1787134849368879586))
- 2024-03: Successfully [raised funds on GreenPill x Octant Community Round](https://explorer.gitcoin.co/#/round/10/0xe9459565709c5e856ffbc3cc8715824945d92de7/6), and we extend special thanks to the Octant community! - Core member mashbean.eth contributed to [GreenPill: Local Regen Guides](https://greenpill.network#regenguides).
- Experimented a Quadratic Voting for collecting NFTs on Tezos, and [published results here](https://www.craft.me/s/3q3zGEVAwHEEce). (with 100 XTZ)

## Future Plans

We aim to fund NGO contributors in FAB DAO, either through grants or for web3 onboarding experience.
