# Week0 Update In preparation for the next cohort, I went through all the [ideas](https://github.com/eth-protocol-fellows/cohort-six/blob/master/projects/project-ideas.md) for the last two weeks, and for me, I preferred to choose the next hardfork feature that will be launched on the mainnet, and finally I focused on EIP-7917, EIP-7805 and EIP-7928. EIP-7917 is straightforward with less content, making it easy to implement, and many teams have recently finished it. I further examined the various resources for EIP-7805 and EIP-7928. ## EIP-7928 - There is a specific [discord channel](https://discord.gg/4KjtsXhM) for discussion. There are also several resources below. - [EIP-7928](https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-7928) - [BAL design space](https://hackmd.io/3_Xv39sFSTmrV6POktj0HQ) - [EIP-7928 for glamsterdam](https://ethereum-magicians.org/t/eip-7928-block-level-access-lists-the-case-for-glamsterdam/24343) - Because the construction and verification of BALs in EIP-7928 are closely related to STF, I also revisited the [Execution Client Architecture video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLyns0eISwI&t=1873s). - I started reading the Erigon code and started drafting the [proposal](https://hackmd.io/@grapebaba/B1itSyV7xg) for [erigon-parallel-execution](https://github.com/eth-protocol-fellows/cohort-six/blob/master/projects/project-ideas.md#erigon-parallel-execution) idea on how to implement EIP-7928 in erigon. However, it was not done, and I found it challenging to implement EIP-7928 on Erigon's existing code, as I needed to consider how to decouple the existing blockSTM execution in parallel. ## EIP-7805 - There is also a specific [discord channel](https://discord.com/channels/595666850260713488/1210529202458071050) for discussion. There is an all-in-one resource [page](https://hackmd.io/@jihoonsong/ryTt1Fv7le). - I also started reading the Grandine code and started drafting the [proposal](https://hackmd.io/@grapebaba/HkjNOK97gl) for [FOCIL in Grandine](https://github.com/eth-protocol-fellows/cohort-six/blob/master/projects/project-ideas.md#grandine-focil-eip-7805-implementation-and-testnet-deployment). ## Next Next week I'll continue to read Grandine's code in depth and try to get [FOCIL in Grandine](https://hackmd.io/@grapebaba/HkjNOK97gl) proposal done. As regarded [erigon-parallel-execution](https://hackmd.io/@grapebaba/B1itSyV7xg) proposal, consider it as an option.
