# Hwang Hee-chan laughs off Son Heung-min in Korean derby Wolverhampton pull off 2-1 upset over Tottenham

Tottenham took the lead through Brennan Johnson just three minutes into the match, but Wolverhampton refused to go away, scoring twice in second-half stoppage time.

With James Maddison and Micky van der Penn sidelined with injuries, and Destiny Udogie and Cristian Romero sent off against Chelsea, Spurs were unable to overcome a huge deficit.

With eight wins, two draws and two losses (26 points), Spurs remained in second place behind Manchester City. They are now threatened by Liverpool and Arsenal, who have played one less game (24+ points).

Wolverhampton leapfrogged into mid-table with four wins, three draws, and five losses (15 points).

The early going favored Tottenham.

They took the lead through Johnson just three minutes into the game. He pounced on Pedro Foro's ground ball from the right flank and slotted home.

Wolverhampton fought back but couldn't find the back of the net for Tottenham. The first half ended with a 1-0 lead for Tottenham.
