# After 29 years, LG ace Kelly is set to lead the way to victory
KT likely to start Ko Young-pyo in Game 5
The [LG Twins](https://bpa-mastery.mn.co/posts/42870487) are on the verge of winning their first Korean Series (KS) title in 29 years, and ace Casey Kelly will be on the mound.
LG manager Yoon Kyung-yeop announced Kelly as the starter for Game 5 after the Twins won 15-4 in Game 4 against the KT Wiz at KT Wiz Park in Suwon on Nov. 11.
Game 5 will be played at 6:30 p.m. on April 13 at Jamsil Stadium.
LG, which went directly to KS as the No. 1 team in the regular season and lost the first game 2-3, won games 2-4 to clinch the KS title.
A Game 5 victory would be their first in 29 years since 1994. LG also made it to the KS in 1997, 1998, and 2002, but failed to win the title.
[Kelly](https://maps.google.com.ec/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fgostopsite.com%2F) takes center stage in the game that could clinch the title.
Kelly is in his fifth year in the KBO and has a 10-7 record with a 3.83 ERA. It was an up-and-down campaign that saw him post his fewest wins and highest ERA since joining the KBO.
After going 6-5 with a 4.44 ERA in 18 starts in the first half of the year, Kelly showed signs of life late in the season. Since September, she has regained her ace form, going 2-0 with a 1.72 ERA in five games.
In four starts against KT in the regular season this year, he went 1-1 with a 3.96 ERA.
Kelly, who went 3-1 with a 2.23 ERA in six postseason (PS) appearances last year, continued his fall baseball dominance in KS this year.
Despite LG's 2-3 loss in Game 1 of the KS, Kelly pitched 6 1/3 innings of four-hit ball, [카지노사이트랭크](https://www.casinositerank.com/category/%ec%98%a8%eb%9d%bc%ec%9d%b8%ec%b9%b4%ec%a7%80%eb%85%b8/) striking out six, walking two and allowing two runs (one earned).
Kelly's main target is Choi, who has been leading off KS since Game 3.
Bae has been strong against Kelly this season, batting .571 (4-for-7) with four RBIs. He has also been hitting well, batting .455 (11-for-5) in Games 1-4 against KS.
KT manager Lee Kang-cheol did not announce his starting pitcher for Game 5, but it's likely that Ko Young-pyo, who started Game 1, will be in the rotation. That would make it a 'return match'.
Ko Young-pyo also pitched six innings in Game 1 for KS, allowing just two runs (one earned) on seven hits and two batted balls.
In the first game, the teams were tied 2-2 going into the eighth inning, and he was unable to get the winning pitch, but he was able to smile as his team won 3-2.
This time, the pressure is even more intense. If KT falters, they will lose the KS championship to LG.
[Ko Young-pyo](http://psicolinguistica.letras.ufmg.br/wiki/index.php/Usu%C3%A1rio_Discuss%C3%A3o:Gostopsite3) will need to bring back fond memories from the playoffs (PO-5 best-of-3).
In the PO, Ko also started when his team was on the ropes. In Game 3 against the NC Dinos, he pitched six innings of three-hit ball with five strikeouts and two walks, leading his team to a 3-0 victory.
After winning Game 3 thanks to Ko Young-pyo, KT won Games 4 and 5 in a row to advance to KS.
After going 2-2 with a 7.36 ERA in four regular-season games against the LG Electronics this year, Ko minimized the LG Electronics' weakness in the first game of the KS by facing seven hits and minimizing the runs.
He'll need to keep the left-handed lineup at bay in Game 5. In the regular season this year, Oh had a strong showing against Go Young-pyo, batting .556 (5-for-9). Moon Bo-kyung and Kim Hyun-soo also hit .429 (7-for-3) and .333 (9-for-3) against Ko, respectively. [고스톱](https://www.gostopsite.com/wiki/bbs/board.php?bo_table=gostop)
