## xenos
**ISSUES NOTED**
xenos have had a flaw of bizzare balance state where at lowxenopop they are practically helpless as the queen gets overun and brutalized and at high xenopop they are nigh unstopable outside of overwhelmingly coordinated and prepraed/powergaming crew.
this insentivises a very repetitive loop... raid viro... make army... steamroll station. to the point xenos's endgame got changed so that they dont need to raid the shuttle. ultimately converting them into a glorified 10minute shiftend button
there are also design choices from what i can only consider the olg TG days of insta fatalities... walk in room throw hugger you just downed 3 people
**THE REWORK**
aims to convert xenos from a swarmtype antag to a horrifying albeit small nest infesting the station... time to put the fear of xenos back in the hearts of those damn assistants
* xenos will be made stronger individually
* while nerfing their repoductive capabilities and removing cheapshots.
thus hopefully making it easier for smaller xeno groups to hold their own. while making it harder to get massive swarms steamrolling medical and then the entire station
also reverts the endgame back to shuttle rush... end the nest or die trying as the nests overtakes the crew and claims the shuttle
**the changes**
* global
-xenos can no longer throw facehuggers (queen exeption)
-xenos can no longer see targets trough walls (hunter exeption)
-it now takes 5 seconds to apply a facehugger onto a person (queen exeption)
-xenos birthed from monkeys will come as lesser xenos. a weaker xeno type
(more on them later)
-gestation now takes longer for nonmonkey infectee
-weeds have a shorter spread range and cost sligtly more
-only drones praetoreans and queens can plant weeds
-weeds are WAY easier to break
-eggs cost MORE plasma to lay
-plasmagain is slightly lowered
~xeno sprite sizes sligtly increased for added threat factor
+all xenos go crit at 50hp not 100... effectively all xeno types gain 50hp
+the queen can now birth consorts. a pathetic nonpreproductive xeno type... this is the xenotype seen offstation. they have tiny hp pools cannot lay weeds or carry facehuggers. a queen can only keep certain amount (1 per 10 crew pop)
+xenos can now extinguish eachother by help intent interacting

+spit upgraded from a a stunning toxin spit to an actual acidic damaging projectile
+deals more damage on hit
+grabs are instant tier 2
+explosion resistance increased to armor values (looking at you xenobio)

+can plant a new xeno floortile. its more of a lattice than floor letting space trough and being easy to break. but it does resemble a floor

~comes from a lesser larva. said larva can ONLY become a lesser drone... can still become a queen

~medium damage (same as hunter aka pre chage damage)
-can plant weeds and build walls but cannot tear floors nor can it plant xenofloors

+birthed from a queen directly without the need of huggers and targets and eggs... (for every 10 crewpop 1 consourt can be birthed)
