# Raid Guild - Game Realm: 1.0

## Summary
**Problem:** People who first stumble into the guild have a difficult time knowing how to get started on their journey.
**Solution:** We propose to gamify the experience; by creating a pixel realm for the Raid Guild. This virtual world will help newbs to self onboard and learn about the Guild in a fun and informative way.
Phase 1 would be to create a simple MVP of the idea. We seek to gain Guild member feedback and buy-in. Subsequent phases would continue to build on the realm idea.
#### 0.1 MVP
* 1.0 Starting Realm
* Isometric map of the landscape/Terrain for desktop and mobile
* Main Guild Hall building
* Clickable to show interior or scroll welcoming the Web3 adventurer
* Clickable bulletin board located in front of the Guild Hall
* Board may contain pinned notices for jobs, looking to form party, active raids, etc. each would link to their corresponding areas.
* Test fog of war to reveal the bigger map and a couple buildings that look to be in construction.

* 1.2 Role Guild Houses
* **Armory** - Pick your class/role
* **Tavern** - Looking for Raid. Tables when clicked go to voice chat discord channels.
* **Arena** - Active Raids. May look like a planning room with a table and items representing links to the kandban, RIPs, outside resources.
* **Shill Shop** - Marketing store front. Shelves with off the shelf marketing solutions people can peruse and then inquire about.
* **Trophy House** - Completed raid case studies / Project Museum
* **Treasury** - DAO balance shown in a creative way. ie Gringotts Bank.
* 1.3 Inventory System and Skill Tree Integration
* Slotted Box like in Minecraft or WOW
* Showcase skill tree rewards.
* 1.4 Character Generator
* Generative NPC created by the members ETH address. Member can earn NFT clothing and gear that represent completed raids and special commendations. ie Finish and epic raid and equip the Epic Raid glowing sword.
* 1.5 Raid Status Viewer
* Could show a timeline with npc/role charcters in different poses and action shots based on the phase the Raid is in.
* Gathered group around a table planning
* Fighting scene when the raid is in production.
* Rest scene when they are waiting on feedback
* Obstacle scene when the raid is stuck
* Victory scene when the raid victorious.
* Lost scene when the raid is a failure.
* Final tally scene of XP earned, spoils distributed, etc.
More ideas to come.
## Why should we build this?
Creating a gamified experience would help new apprentices and guild members unlock layers of complexity, in a sytematic and fun way. The realm can expand over time, by adding new buildings, activity areas, etc. that represent the different interactions the guild has to offer. Making it modular so that future ideas can be implemented. This provides the guild a place to integrate many of the other RIP initiatives.

It's imperative that a style guide be developed to keep thematics on point and visually consistent.
