> How Graphics Development, Design and Technologies Have Changed
Times are changing! As any computer graphics expert who know the ins and outs of the topic; it's often a surprised to find that the biggest challenges are not the intellectual aspects of the subject but by the rapidly changing tools, APIs, languages and hardware. Leading to a turbulent field of frustration and uncertainty.
> You can't stand still in computer graphics, or you'll be left behind
Graphics developers live on the edge of excitement and frustration. You can't stand still if you want to stay ahead in the graphics industry.
The ability to work more effectively with graphical technologies and tools is leading to a new generation of developers. Currently there is an overwhelming influx of graphics designers - constant motivation for graphics developers to provide more. Such advancements and optimizations are unlikely to occur when the scope of the problem is always changing.
Whether or not coronavirus-driven disruption provides the final push we need to move away from flawed approaches in computer graphics productivity, we can be certain that this transition will eventually happen. Even if we convince ourselves that the technological toll of overload and demand is acceptable collateral damage for a fast-paced modern graphics world, there's too much latent economic value at stake to keep ignoring the haphazard nature of how we currently work.
