# The Road Not Taken ## 1. Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; <!-- 黃色的樹林裡分出兩條路, 抱歉我無法同時旅行 成為旅行者,我站了很久 並儘可能地向下看 到它在灌木叢中彎曲的地方; --> 黃樹林裡岔兩路 遺憾無法兩全顧 行者至此長駐足 遠眺欲窮千里目 直至彎沒林深處 ## 2. Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same, <!-- 然後拿另一個,同樣公平, 也許有更好的說法, 因為它長滿了草,需要磨損; 雖然那路過那裡 穿起來其實都差不多, --> 貌似相同另一路 細看倒有些特殊 野草靜待人踏步 雖然踏上此一途 二者實無相異處 ## 3. And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.
